Procedure entry from the chiropractic EMR

At a recent webinar, participants were introduced to the new ability to add procedures directly from the Clinic Pro chiropractic EMR. Once the doctor has recorded the procedures performed, the front desk is notified of the transactions to be processed. With the click of one button, the procedures performed by the doctor in the treatment rooms are entered into the transaction screen for the day. The procedures are automatically set up in the billing queue for processing when medical billing is performed, either electronically or hard copy.

Clinic Pro users no longer have to rely on paper to communicate the procedures performed to the front desk. This direct method of procedure entry plugs a hole in many practice management systems that would allow procedures to go unbilled and therefore unpaid. The procedure entry part of the chiropractic EMR is becoming increasingly popular because it is paying for itself.
